Since 6 months for my nice in the Netherlands (.nl) we see only .com results, 2 days ago, finally everything was back to normal. So for my niche 90% .nl websites. I was getting happy. Only this took 1 day because everything is back to what is was. I hope Google will fix this, because this is not normal.

Can anyone tell me how come the peoples realize that i am watching them or i am browsing around the street via Google map, I am really curious and just want to know what is the thing there through i am viewing the image and what peoples see that something is viewing them or around.

Today i was browsing some place and viewing the image on street and the peoples on that street was looking at me ( I mean may be there was a camera or something) and they even point the finger at me (I mean the photo i was viewing ) and they show thumbs up like they know someone or something is viewing them so therefore i just want to know what source is letting us view street and images and what people see and realize what thing is trying to see them.

Couple of days ago I read here Google will keep rolling out updates in the start of every month and will take almost 15-20 days to come into full effect. I think this is also a part of panda update.

Google's search quality strategy seems to be moving more and more towards "removing SPAM and preventing manipulation" instead of "detecting quality content." If you run under the business principle of "preventing what's wrong" instead of "finding what's right", you'd really end up with this kind of mess.

Ditto. Our traffic appeared to be down by more than 20 per cent by the end of the day. Then the numbers jumped, then they fell again before stabilizing at the higher level.

Not a lot happening with the Serp status checkers. Except Mozcast.com it showed a bit of a spike a day or 2 ago but no one seemed to be making a big deal of it

That's the beauty of the Internet, ain't it? I agree with your statement. However, I don't want to post my URL for a couple of reasons. I guess you can take it or leave it (my opinion/situation that is).

I know that Alexa stats are rubbish, though to use it as a reference point, it was (and still is) a highly ranked Alexa website. It has a somewhat significant profile. I don't wish for it to be the center of attention for these matters. I've previously thought about contacting some people to run some "case studies" but I've since changed my mind. My website has 2 main competitors who are somewhat similar in their functionality and use (though more limited) and they are yet to be hit. These are both also very highly ranked on Alexa, both well below 1,000.

Which means I've either:

1. Done something obviously wrong somewhere/missed something. I've had a few of my webmasters/programmer mates go over it with a fine tooth comb. Beyond minor improvements, there's nothing obvious.
2. Maybe there's a dodgy page somewhere I am unaware of -- Google said "A single page can bring down a domain". Possible, though unlikely I believe.
3. I am collateral damage.

I am 99% sure that it is content/structure related. I've made some tweaks here and there so we'll see how that goes. Another area that may be my downfall is heavy usage of robots.txt -- I previously blocked quite a lot of the website. I've relaxed these rules a little. But to me, that doesn't make much sense.

And lastly, the only other thing I came up with, was a "nofollow" on a couple of internal links. After watching basically every Google webmaster video, Matt Cutts basically says it's a bad idea except in some circumstances. I used it on my login/register page, as well as to an information page that was linked on every page. I have since removed these internal nofollow's.
